We are the only ones in the world showing you how to work with this special combination of techniques!!

You do not need any experience with brushes and can replace the oil for acrylics or water mixable oils in case you prefer. The techniques stay the same.

How does it work?

You first need to know how to build up the construction for your painting, which is what we do with an airbrush.

We then learn to work in thin layers and textures using brushes and paint and a special mix of mediums.

Even detail can be done in the end, almost as simple as adding make up to a face.

This process becomes way easier than using solely an airbrush or brush for hyperrealism, as you can compensate with either airbrush or brush.

There are some do’s and don’ts that we clearly explain and show, so you will know exactly what you are doing, building up an enormous amount of confidence and a steady stunning portrait.

 

Once you have mastered the techniques of hyperrealism, you can find your own way and incorporate your style or loosen up, while still being able to always rely on your steady foundation. Marissa does not think of hyperrealism as an end goal, but as a beginning of the ultimate soul searching, so you can create your very own world if you know how to paint and observe.

In this course we will paint a hyperrealistic face with extra focus on details in skin, lips hair and eyes with airbrush and the full process from sketch to final details will be explained and shown through 5 live sessions. (4 lessons + 1 bonus on 31 October) These sessions will be recorded HD and can be watched back the next day for half a year. This allows people from all over the world to follow my lessons, and in case of missing live sessions you can simply ask questions in my dedicated support group.

You will learn how to work with materials, paint in layers to obtain depth and volume, work with  values, hues, the right intensity of colors, textures, details and so much more, is all covered in this class.
