In this course Marissa shows how she makes her sought after soft, yet realistic faces. They have this beautiful soft touch and natural glow to it that are unique for Marissa’s portraits. During this Freehand portrait course Marissa shows how to gracefully build up an amazing lifelike portrait full of emotion with a playful touch. According to Marissa this is the kind of portrait commission she loves to do most. As you can poor your soul into it with a minimum amount of material and a minimalistic color palette to create a lifelike stunning portrait.  The full process from sketch to final details will be explained and shown throughout 4 superb live sessions as if you are with Marissa in the studio. These sessions will be recorded HD and can be watched back the next day for half a year. So no problem if you miss one or more sessions!! This allows people from all over the world to follow her lessons, and in case of missing live sessions you can simply ask questions in our dedicated support group.

You will learn how to work mainly freehand and get a good grasp on layering transparent colors to make amazing and natural looking nuances. Details are of course not left out, as well as hair and any other textures that need to be rendered in this soft way. There is no use of stencils, templates or blades.
